American Conservatory Theater had an open house at the Geary Street Theater to celebrate their 100th anniversary, including sword fighting demonstrations, a staged reading from the first play they produced, and the chance for patrons to wander essentially everywhere, from the catwalks and eaves to the bottom of the building (pictures).

Seven-types-of-vehicle-day: J-Church streetcar, Crepevine for banana, strawberry, nutella crepe for breakfast, F-Market antique trolley, a commercial shoot for VW, electric bus 30 line to North Beach, Hyatt hotel elevators, Yank Sing for dim sum lunch with Paul, Susan, Matthew & Allie, Ferry Building food markets, taxi to Pier 33, funnel cake, ferry boat to Alcatraz, cable car over the hill to Market Street, BART to 24th Street, Savor for “a nice Caesar salad” for dinner, donut, crash…
