It was a sell-out crowd for “Rotten Lunches & Bubblegum Punches, an Evening of Short Plays by Short People.”  Seven plays were written by fifth graders at Starr King Elementary School, including our very own Ellie Murphy-Weise, and performed as staged readings by professional actors and musicians (pictures and Ellie on the local TV news).

Another edition of San Francisco’s Sunday Streets, this time in the Mission along 24th Street and Valencia. There was square dancing, drum circles, low-riders, street yoga, live bands, and more options for ice cream and popsicles than we could have imagined (pictures).
